I CASE’d Paula’s SASC24 example shown here: http://www.stampinaddicts.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=4508
The creative smudging technique (LOL) is that my Bravo Burgundy classic ink spot has "gone south" just like my large Real Red pad with the layer of gold on top and now it won’t dry at all. I was able to clean up my Versamark pad though. I liked the look and planned to do something similar so I just went with it.
Stamps: Good Cheer
Inks: Bravo Burgundy
Papers: WW, Bravo Burgundy, Mellow Moss
Accessories: Mellow Moss Taffeta Ribbon, Paper Piercer, Square Scallop BS Die, UTEE / Glassy Glaze enamel,
Techniques: Cracked Glass, Paper Piercing
So pretty! The smudging (intentional or not, lol) looks wonderful & the piercing at the bottom is perfect!
The smudging looks intentional, so I think this looks fab-o!
Beautiful card Rhonda! I didn’t notice the smudging either. Ireally just thought it was a "vintage" look. This challenge is what I need to finally try this technique. I bought the GGE months ago for this reason. I hope I can find it! TFS!
You know, I had only pictured this (in my mind) done with coloring the image, but I have to say that it is stunning in monochromatic! I love it!!!
