Manhattan Roses in Roses

Vellum cardstock was the trick to this one. It doesn’t rip when you send it through the embossing folder. After cutting along the top of the roses I sponged on the back side with daubers. The white oval was markered and white gel pen on the scalloped oval. My secret for adhering the vellum to the WW is to use gluestick on the whole back side of the vellum. If you cover the whole thing, it doesn’t show! For more info, please visit my blog:

Wonderful card..I love how the oval sentiment turned out. TYFS. Another trick, I use for vellum is to run it through my Xyron. I love the results.
