I challenged myself and some friends this week to use purple on our creations. I could not have picked a harder challenge for myelf! I think it didn’t turn too bad paired with the kraft and white. The inspiration was the wonderful lilacs when they are in bloom in the Spring. I love the look and the smell!
More about this card and the challenges on my blog:
Stamps: Branch Out, Fêtes diverses, All Scallops
Inks: Kraft, sparkly purple cs (The Paper Company)
Papers: Whisper White, Orchid Oplulence, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Manhattan Flower folder, rhinestones, satin ribbon, Kraft corduroy button, flowers (Making Memories)
Techniques: Craft on Kraft
this is simply stunning! (I, too love lilacs) I love the purples and the flower layers and the stampin on the kraft – fabulous card!
Purple is hard for me, too. This is a lovely combo, though. Beautiful.
Love the sparkly purple paper. I’m just the opposite. I’m a purple freak and have a hard time NOT using purple on nearly everything I make. I’m a firm believer that blues are purples in training and all other colors are purple wannabe’s lol
this is gorgeous! into my fav’s

Wow! That is spectacular!
