Layered Birthday Cake

You probably wouldn’t want to eat this birthday cake: the frosting on this black embossed image was painted with bleach! I created this card for a new catalog swap with the Great Swaps Girls, using Fall-To Layout #30 from the clean & simple stamping blog.

Stamps: Birthday Bliss, Fun & Fast Notes
Inks: VersaMark
Papers: Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla, Razzleberry Lemonade DSP
Accessories: Melon Mambo & Rich Razzleberry Markers, Styled Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware, Melon Mambo 1/2" Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder, Heat Tool, Mat Pack, Paper-Piercing Tool, Stampin’ Dimensionals, watercolor brush, bleach
Techniques: painting with bleach, heat embossing, marker to rubber
