Butterfly Elements

This was for a challenge a few weeks back.

I have been playing around this week — with distressing technique, with butterflies, with new stamps from the mini and the pre-order.

All those sessions served as background for the card I created today. I love how this card came together — using a technique I tried the other day, but didn’t quite nail.

This is the spotight technique using Elements of Style and a Sizzix Big Shot Die (the butterfly). I hope you can see the shape of the butterfly. Originally I didn’t have the edges distressed but it was too faint of a shape then.

Thanks for looking. This took me two hours :O

Blessings, Lela
