Top Note Quilt Deer

I finally got one of these quilt cards done. His face came out a bit dark and smudgy, but I like how the texture of the watercolor paper left some white spots on the deer making him look spotted like the fawn he is. I did the bg with pastels so I could erase out the blue in the face and recolor it. The card looks better because the image isn’t so close up.

Inks: Close to Cocoa
Papers: celery, black, wc, Hostess level 1 print pack dsp, apricot
Accessories: pastels, blender pen, wc pencils, corner rounder, top note die, big shot, 1-1/4" square punch, black marker
Techniques: quilted top note
