Does it create a vertical card or horizontal card? I can't tell from the catalog or product guide.

    Thanks for any help!

It is a vertical card. The the finished card is 4.25" wide & 5.5" tall. The fold is on the top (4.25") edge.

Actually, you can make it a horizontal card - just have the fold be on the short side rather than the long top. (And be sure to turn your punch dies the correct way - bottom along the long edge of card.)

I was going to say the same as Lois. I love cards oriented this way. Just something a bit different.

You need the extended cutting pads (the clear ones), in addition to the Movers & Shapers platform and magnetic die. HTH! Oh, and the cardstock, of course! You can use a half sheet of 12 x 12, or a half sheet of 8½ x 11 cut to 4¼ x 11.

with the mover and shapers thing once I buy it then do I have to buy the shapes separately? Does it come with any thing? Is it really useful? I would love to see a demo, is there a video somewhere?

The Mover & Shapers comes with the Curly Label die. There are two other sets of 4 dies that are available....the Punch Windows and Holiday Windows. A quick search of YouTube produced:

One of the things I really like about it is, the Punch Window dies produce a cut shape that is just slightly larger than the matching punches*, which makes a perfect mat for the punched shapes.
