Well, I believe I'll wait a bit to tackle the BOX. I'm working on the pennant now.
One MDS page done and picking out some pics for the big trip to France pages from last year.
Oh, Pammy, that DOES stink about the kayak! to the meanies!
I have the scrapbooking challenge completed and am working on getting that uploaded and posted. Then I think I'll work on the Workshop in a Bag! Ink up some new rubbah!!!!
Ready to start stamping finally! Working on a swap for my upline group first then on to my Make n Takes!
Boo on your kayak Pammy! Glad you filed a police report but I can't believe someone just took it!!
Off to be productive!
OK, scrapbooking challenge has been posted!
Well that just sucks Pammy. Glad you filed the police report. Were there others missing?
I'm stamping but staying home. Not only is severe weather headed this way from up north, but I feel yucky. Just the lack of sleep from it being so hot, but still not great. I came to the library as it's just a mile from my house. 91 degrees and hot windy outside. So I wanted to post, let Sara know and catch up. The library's not open tomorrow. Once I have internet access again I'll get pictures posted of what I get done. M&Ts, and the Every Little Detail project are top of my list.
Sorry, Kim. I was makign lunch when you called. My phone was downstairs. It's storming here, so good thing.
I got my Christmas Cards done so far. Not bad--then a bunch of paperwork, and now my make-n-takes are calling.
Thanks guys! Well, the officer who took the report said that probably it was kids who cut the cable and took it for a joy ride. He said he'd notify the lake ranger and have them search the lake, as the kids might have abandoned it and it drifted into a cove. He said it wasn't likely that they stole it to re-sell it - there's not much money in used kayaks! Ah well, what will be will be. And the only other kayak locked up there was still there, but it had been turned over on it's side, like someone had been messing with it. That one has a thicker cable on it than mine. Lesson learned.
And now on to more interesting stuff - stamping! I'm still working on the pennant! Yowie! I had finished all of the cards at Convention - I've just been working on the pennants - wow, am I slow!
But I'm having fun, and that's what it's all about, isn't it?!
Yay - finished the banner from the Make & Takes! Here's mine:
And now I'm off to Saturday Night Mass (so I can sleep in tomorrow morning! ) I know, I'm bad!
See you all later! Keep on Stampin'!
Are you positive it wasn't Rhonda who took it Pammy? You know she has quite a rep for that kind of thing. . .
I had a class today so I was AWOL this morning. But I did get a recruit out of it so I'm finally not the loser who doesn't do the convention challenges.
I finished by 2nd MDS page. Both were for Creative Crew challenges.
I have managed to get my shoebox swap designed for up line's meeting next weekend. Now, I have to work on a full card swap for that same meeting. It's all good, we have a great group and I get cards I can use for classes the rest of the year.
My problem is I'm not feeling the love with our sets from Convention. I made myself order accessories only before Convention (besides the preorder sets) until I saw what I had to have that they showed in SLC. Now I just want EVERYTHING in the holiday mini to play with so my mojo is MIA. Off to browse the gallery for some inspiration!
Woo hoo for your recruit!!
I got the make and take box done...now for the rest.
Ooohhh, betcha you're right! She only lives about four hours from me! That darned Rhonda!
Yay for the new recruit Paula!
Way to go! I really, really need to finish it. Problem is, I'm not in love with the colors, and I'm thinking I'd rather take the box and the directions but use different colors and fabric. As a matter of fact, I think that's what I WILL do! I'll get a lot more use from it if it were in colors I LIKE!
Hooray!! We (you and me) are too cool for school this year!!! Congrats!! It is an awesome feeling to be able to help finally!
