I know that I saw at convention last summer (2009) someone that made crowns from the lattice die. Do you know who did this and how they did it? I didn't take a picture and now I wish I had. Any help or ideas?

I think Julie A made them - but I could be wrong. I think Holly had one and maybe Comeka. Maybe one of them will know how it was done.

I had club last night so i couldn't try this. It is so easy. I think I'll make some for my sale this weekend.

I used the self adhesive fun foam and covered the one side with Dazzling Diamonds. It doesn't show up very well in the photo.
Cut the Lattice die cut as shown in the picture.
I used white cotton floss to bind it to the headband. I found this style of headband at the $1 Tree store. Any style would work.
Start with a clove hitch at the center of the crown. Wrap one section of floss toward each end. Tie off with 2 Clove hitch knots.
    Easy Peasy!

Thanks for your help! Now I will be making some for my girls! I think they would like them.

I had wanted to make these for my volleyball girls because they were playing queen of the court. I thought they would be fun but didn't have the time to figure them out. I was half way there when I gave up! Oh well, we still had queens of the court as well as princesses, jesters and cheaters (I helped the cheaters and I was the ref!) Lots of fun!

I can usually figure out any crafty thing. :) My mom says I've creating since I could hold a crayon in my hand.
I think fishing line would look nicer than the floss. Less visible.
I weas thinking this through at my Dr. appt today. lol Off to make some.

Actually, I think I know what she means. I've just never heard it called a clove hitch, I guess.

LOL I was too embarrassed to ask what a clove stitch was too. I guess it is a compliment that Kim thinks we are all as smart as her. ;)
