Season of Simple Grace

Season of Simple Grace project that’s been kicking around in my head for awhile.

This is my first prototype and I’ll be gussying it up in the next version but thought you might like to see the first step in the process. Not sure what to call this – flap diorama? I cut a partial oval from a template of sorts (next version is going to covered with the oval frame die from my big shot) and if I find my Coluzule I ‘ll use that for a neater cut – then scored then folded the flap in. Cut a slit in the back of the card for the flap to fit into and cut a slit in the floor of the flap for the nativity piece. All images except the star were stamped and then cut out. Card will fold flat for mailing.

I’ll be posting more details and pictures of the underside later on my blog.
