Conv 09 My Thanksgiving Swap

This is very close to another I did, but Holly saw it and wanted it in her swap, so I changed it up just a bit. I found a better way to loop the hemp twine so it layed nicer, which is why I have this one I scanned, it was a reject for that reason. lol

The card front ends at the torn edge so the vanilla inside shows through. I inked the back of the torn edge to make a faux torn edge on the inside vanilla. Makes a nice border above the leaves, and gives a limit if someone wants to write on the inside.

Stamps: Autumn Days, Lovely as a Tree, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Inks: Really Rust, More Mustard, Old Olive, Garden Green, Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie, Stazon Black
Papers: Garden Green, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Old Olive
Accessories: Gold Eyelet, Hemp Twine, Word Window Punch, Markers (mostly same as ink colors), Ticket Corner Punch, Tissue Paper, Glue Stick
Techniques: Faux Silk, Rock and Roll, Marker Thumping
Difficulty Rating (1-Easy, 5-Hard): 2

What do you think?

  1. I am the proud owner of one of these cards! The Thanksgiving swap was the best and yours is a favorite of all my customers when they look through them. I am going to do a technique class and use it as an example for faux silk.
