Aunt Jeannie Cracked Glass

Did this for my Aunt a few years ago. She was 83 and fell down the basement stairs, broke 10-15 bones, including several ribs and 3 bones in her neck, had a stroke about a month later while still in the hospital, and has survived it all.
The inside is stamped with the elegant inspirations stamp that says "be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer" in gold encore ink.

Stamps: Oh So Lovely, Graceful Words, French Script, Simple Stripes bg,
Inks: Jet black stazon, going gray (stamped off), gold encore, versamark
Papers: Purely Pomegranate, Pretty in Pink, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White
Accessories: Pomegranate satin ribbon, gold cord, Glassy Glaze, WWC, blender pen, ticket corner punch
Techniques: Cracked Glass, stamping on ribbon, watercolor with WWC
Difficulty Rating (1-Easy, 5-Hard): 2

  1. What an amazing story! My great aunt lived to be 106 (had gallbladder surgery at 99, fell at 100, etc.) and she called herself "a tough old bird" so one year her doctor gave her a shirt that said that on it!
