This is my first try at the watercoloring of the rose in Fifth Ave Floral. Was having a hard time sleeping last night and this popped in to my head. Got up and this is the end result. I didnt have a spray bottle so I opted to use my silver glimmer mist (non SU). Not only did it wet the cardstock nicely, it also added some more "shimmer" to the rose. It is hard to see it in the pic, tho.

Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral
Inks: VersaMark, various reinkers, Melon Mambo
Papers: Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Shimmery Cardstock, Razzleberry Lemonade DSP
Accessories: Scallop Oval punch, oval punch, stampin dimensionals, silver glimmer mist, Ultra thick clear embossing powder
Techniques: Watercoloring

What do you think?

  1. this is beautiful Janice. Sorry you couldn’t sleep either, but glad you turned it into something this pretty! Looks like you put some CE dew drops on it.
